The SG Sunny Tonny Omni 8.8 English Willow Cricket Bat provides an economical entry into English Willow for developing cricketers, players moving up from Kashmir Willow or those purchasing their first English Willow bat. Handcrafted from Grade 5 English Willow, the blade may display natural blemishes or stains associated with this grade, without affecting its playing strength. SG's standard profile provides a broad sweet spot, while the optimised construction helps maintain a comfortable pickup and generate bat speed.
The bat features a quality Singapore cane handle with shock-absorbing construction to help reduce vibration through the hands, complemented by a comfortable grip for secure control. A grain-face covering with fibre tape along the edges provides additional blade protection. Supplied in a Ready to Play finish, the Omni 8.8 requires significantly less preparation before use, although additional toe protection is recommended. New for the 2026/27 season, it weighs approximately 2 lb 8 oz to 2 lb 10 oz and includes a full-length bat cover.
Please note: Grade 5 English Willow may naturally display blemishes, stains and variations in grain structure or colour. These cosmetic characteristics are normal for the grade and do not affect the playing strength of the bat. Individual bats will vary in appearance and weight, and product images are representative only.
