The SG KLR Vortex 1.0 English Willow Cricket Bat is a premium new model for the 2026/27 season, handcrafted from Grade 1+ Premium English Willow for high-level performance, power and durability. Its semi-duckbill profile is designed around stability and balanced weight distribution, providing a controlled feel through the swing. With an average weight of approximately 1150–1180 g (2 lb 8.6 oz–2 lb 9.6 oz), the Vortex 1.0 combines substantial hitting potential with a relatively light pickup.
The KLR range is endorsed by Indian cricketer KL Rahul, a top-order batter recognised for his technically accomplished stroke play and ability to perform across multiple formats. A premium Singapore cane handle provides a sturdy connection through the hands, complemented by a high-quality grip for comfort and control during match play. The bat features a standard toe profile and natural blade finish and is supplied with a full-length protective bat cover. Highmark Cricket sources its SG equipment through the Australian distributor, providing a local channel for assistance with eligible after-sales and warranty matters.
Please note: Cricket bats are individually crafted from natural willow, so variations in grain structure, colour, appearance and weight are normal. Bat weights and grain characteristics are subject to availability, and product images are for illustration purposes only. The bat you receive may therefore vary in appearance from the images shown.
