The SCC Switch 540 Rush Gold English Willow Cricket Bat brings the Glenn Maxwell-inspired SWITCH concept to junior cricketers. Co-designed by Glenn Maxwell and SCC Cricket, the Switch 540 is made from hand-selected Grade 5 English Willow and features a mid-to-low middle with an extended profile to create a generous hitting area. Its excellent pickup and balance complement the fast hands, versatility and creative stroke play associated with Maxwell's approach to batting.
Designed specifically for the junior range, the Switch 540 combines its performance-focused profile with a semi-oval handle for stability, feel and control. The bat is factory pressed and supplied with a grain-face anti-scuff sheet, fibre tape edge protection and toe protection already fitted. This preparation means the Switch 540 arrives ready to play, without the traditional preparation required for a natural blade English Willow bat.
