The KOOKABURRA Diablo Pro 3.0 English Willow Cricket Bat introduces the new Diablo range for the 2026/27 Australian cricket season, built around an aggressive low profile for players who like to take the game on from the front foot. Crafted from Pro 3.0 Grade Unbleached English Willow, this grade features a minimum of five grains and may display blemishes, marks and a higher proportion of heartwood. These cosmetic characteristics are normal for the grade and do not preclude strong playing performance.
The Diablo's imposing shape combines its low profile with a standard toe and standard face, creating a design focused on explosive hitting and powerful front-foot stroke play. An oval handle provides a secure connection through the hands and is finished with Kookaburra's Black Band Chevron grip. Weighing approximately 2 lb 7 oz to 2 lb 10 oz, the Diablo Pro 3.0 is supplied with a blade-length bat cover. The Diablo range is associated with Australian wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey.
