The GILBERT First Nations Netball Bibs celebrate culture, community and storytelling through sport. Featuring original artwork by Sean Kinchela, a proud Gamilaroi and Wiradjuri man, these bibs bring meaningful Indigenous design to the court while delivering the comfort and performance required for training and match play.
As described by the artist:
“The Emu and Kangaroo are icons of Australia and Country; their presence symbolises that everyone has the opportunity to become an icon and leave a legacy behind. The zig zag patterns represent connection to Country and the footprints around the artwork represent our journey. The camps and meeting places represent coming together from different places, families, and celebrate the traditions and connections we share with the various mobs we meet along the way.”
Made from lightweight mesh fabric and supplied as a set of seven, these bibs are ideal for clubs and schools looking to acknowledge and celebrate First Nations culture within netball.
